Series: Yami no Matsuei
Title: The Gift
Author: Fish1
Genre: Angst/Romance/AU
Rating: R
Warnings: Lime, AU, a bit of violence
Couple (if applicable): Tsuzuki/Hisoka, implied Saki/Tsuzuki
Plot: 9/10 - It's actually refreshing to see an AU that's not overdone. This one is one of those plots that you haven't seen before and it works wonderfully here.
Writing: 9/10 - I don't think I see any errors that scream out to me, besides a few comma splices. The writing flows and it's not jumbled and confusing.
Characterization: 8/10 - It's an AU, it's not totally in character, and it's excusable. But it's not so bad where you can't tell characters from one another.
Negativities: None that I know of.
Summary: Tsuzuki gets a job at a mental institution and meets a certain green eyed youth. Both their lives change after this meeting and both learn what exactly 'love' is. I can't say any more without spoiling.
Overall - 8.6/10 - Definitely a story worth reading. Sadly, it isn't done yet. :/ But it's definitely worth a read, even not finished.
